What a great post. Love hearing all of those things about Matt that I didn’t know but truly all fit what I know about him. Most of what I know is from Ellery and Olivia always talking about Mr Fouch and their math classs. They always had something to tell me about Mr Fouch but not too much about the rest of their MS day . Olivia was a bit intimidated at first but by the end, she was often thinking up pranks to play on Mr Fouch. Claire is sad not to have you, Matt but we are definitely cheering for you. I am with you Jill, stay positive until there is no other choice. Prayer is amazing. Cry when you need to as we are all human but rejoice in what you have. Another movie for you Matt- if you haven’t seen it yet “ McFarland USA”. ( I can hear my kids groan-based on a true story...). Stay as strong as you can and when you can’t, know there are lots of friends and people you hardly know staying strong for you And of course God to Carry you the whole way

I just heard the news today and you, and your family have been (and will continue to be) in my thoughts and prayers. My mind was flooded, today, with past conversations and memories that put a smile on my face. I’ve read all the journal entries and looked at the photos you have posted and feel connected and caught up! Thank you. I’m still in shock, but know that I will be sending love and prayers daily . You are not fighting this alone!

Wow! That was inspiring Jill, and is so true, cancer does not change the man! Although it may attack his body it does not attack his soul! Praying daily and may God give you peace and strength as you tackle the treatment.
