Mary ’s Story

Site created on September 25, 2020

Mary has had a stressful year working full-time as a Nurse at Memorial Herman amid the COVID-19 Pandemic, while also going to grad school for a Master's of Nursing Administration. Last week, at around 3 AM Coby woke up to Mary having an intense seizure. Coby immediately called her mom Sonja, and they all rushed to the Hospital.

After testing they discovered a large blood clot in her brain-stem. She has had a number of seizures since and has been moved to the stoke floor where she is getting amazing care from experts. We hope she will be coming home soon!

We will consistently be posting updates on her recovery here, and also post requests for assistance here if you are able to help!
We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Mary is doing better each day and we are grateful for all the help.  We have moved as of this morning and are happy to be in Fulshear literally across the street.  This will make it so easy for us to now be her babysitter.  If you have signed up for a shift, you are relieved of any duty!  We got it covered!  Again, thank you from our hearts!❤️❤️
