Mary Lou was a true force of nature who throughout her life promoted ongoing education and continued learning.  She possessed four Masters Degrees from various universities in Michigan - all achieved while raising a family and working in her most treasured positions in the Farmington School District (teacher through to administration).

Mary Lou will be buried with her husband in the Greenwich Cemetery section of the Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia next to her grand-daughter  (gravesites 34 and 36).  "Loved with a love beyond all feeling, missed with a grief beyond all tears."

Journal entry by Diane Ankele-Quinn

I will be closing down this site shortly. It has been streamlined today with the removal of most photos and journal entries. My mother would not want to live forever with her end of life story in cyberspace, I am sure (I can hear her in my head right now as I write this)

If you need or want to contact the family, please use mlankele@gmail.com and we will be as responsive as possible.
