Hello to ME"s family, It has taken me some time to come to terms with ME"s passing, remembering our times together and the stories that ME shared with me.
One of my favourite days was a couple of years ago in the summer. We had both gone to the Y and then to Tim Horton's for coffee. ME asked if I would like to go to the Mennonite Farm outside of Goderich so off we went. What great place! and ME explained to me about stooks!
We returned to Goderich and went for a swim in the pool and had lunch together. She then took me on a tour of Goderich as I really didn't know where everything was and she thought it was high time for me to know the town! We stopped in to visit a few of her IODE friends and then back home.
Tom was golfing that day. We had a wonderful time together and discovered more things that we had in common!
Such a friend ME was!!! and it's not the same without her.

Anytime I was in Goderich at Nicholas and Kate’s home on a weekend I looked forward to a Saturday morning visit from Mary Ellen delivering her biscuits in her stylish wicker basket with the gingham cloth . Who does that expression of generosity? Someone as kind and thoughtful as Mary Ellen, that is who. May we continue to learn from Mary Ellen; she left a fabulous legacy.
