Journal entry by John Sterbinsky —
Wow. It's been a while since the last post. Maryann has a new med that will help her travel better. The flip side is that it seems to be lowering her blood cells (red and white) counts. So she is going for a weekly finger prick to get checked. If she stays on this med it appears she may need to take something to keep her cells at a normal level. Hopefully a diet with those things that help will work as opposed to more meds. The jury is still out.
The new med is giving her a better energy level and outlook, so let's hope she can stay on it.
Until next time.
