Sounds like wonderful event and tradition. Shaughin has a part in the Lion King musical at his school in Middleton on that weekend. Guess where grandma and grandpa are going to be. See you at the next Preston gathering.

Thank you for sharing the breadth of Mary-Fred’s sphere of influence. There is rarely a day that I do not think of her and give thanks for her life.

Mary-Fred touched many and the echoes of her outreach continue. Last Saturday at the memorial service for Amara Strande, a 20-year-old woman gave the eulogy. This young woman also had had cancer and was feeling very alone. She said that Mary-Fred (her German teacher) had counseled her and connected her with Amara, with whom she became best friends. Mary-Fred was a positive force for many of us.
