Rev. Tyler, this is Bernice Forrest, kt's mother-in-law. I'm SO sorry about the Douglas fir incident, but so happy for your courage and progress! It's clear that kt has inherited lots of "guts" on both sides of the family, and I think that's a great solace to everyone--- and especially you.
