On Thanksgiving weekend of 2021 (prior to her diagnosis) I had the pleasure of having a long visit and chat with Martha. Even though I have been a part of her extended family through marriage for over 20 years, this was the first time we really sat down and got to know each other. Afterwards my main thought was how I wish we had talked more years before, as I was certain we would have been fast friends. Never did I imagine that would not be the case for the future.

Martha was loved by so many and I completely understand why. She will be truly missed.
