Journal entry by Wendi Crawford —
I know she hasn't wrote in a while so now its my turn to keep writing about her journey for her.
She started to make progress until the doctors started doing tests. The test all came back until they seen a spot on one of her lungs.
She then was scheduled for an appointment to go get a pet scan done me and my mother went, my mom was my grandma caretaker. They said they would let us know what the results were as we were sitting there waiting my grandma started crying and i said its gonna be okay memaw. We gonna get through this.
As the days passed we started having to bring her to emergency rooms more and more. The whole she was there i kept telling her its okay. I would constantly go to church and pray for my grandma to get better.
Its hard extremely hard to watch someone you love have to battle stage 4 lung cancer!
She didn't survive nor did she beat her cancer but God answered my prayers and healed her by taking her home on August 17,2018 at 8:01 am Marsha Ann mizell took her last breath.
