Just a quick update! Marlon will be approaching his 1st month on the journey towards wellness and recovery since his surgery from aortic dissection! It was both the fastest let longest month for him and his family and friends! Lots of prayers and well wishes have gotten him this far but we gotta keep it going. There are lots of challenges ahead and he will need even more support!

I tell him take it day by day! I reminded him today that Friday will be 1 month since his life changing event. That living a healthier life is absolutely possible! That he is stronger than he gives himself credit for. For someone who has never really been hospitalized...this a lot for my bro, but he is learning to be his own advocate for his wants and needs! 

He was very grateful for the generosity and overwhelming support given at Saturday's Fish Fry organized by Jamar Key! Continue to send him love!
