I would like to thank all of you for the outpouring of love, prayers, flowers, meals, visits, phone calls, texts, cards and numerous other acts of kindness shown to me, our family and to Marlin during our journey leading to Marlin’s heavenly homecoming.  Words cannot express how much it has touched us all. 

I am personally blessed and comforted by all of you right now, as I navigate into a new normal.  I am feeling at peace with God’s plan, because Marlin said all along, ‘God’s got this’…. And He does.  I am humbled and grateful for your sincere love and support helping me each and every day. 

As we celebrate Christ’s birth, let’s all reflect on our hope and the promise:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!”  Lamentations 3:22-23
