I've known and loved Mar since we met in grade school. She was the life of every party she went to and will long be remembered by her high school friends as being the sparkle to the reading of 'Twas the night before Christmas' at our annual Christmas party. We shared many moments throughout our lives, so many laughs, tears and inspiration. I know she is happiest now with Charles, I pray we all can find that kind of peace.

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."— from headstone in Ireland. Though Marlene has graduated from sharing life with us on this earth, may we find peace and rejoice that she is well and reunited with her friends and loved ones and finally seeing Jesus and basking in His love. Loved here on earth, loved in heaven.

I'm sad to hear that Marlene passed away. But I love the idea of spontaneous joy and laughter in heaven. I love too, thinking of her reunion with Charlie. Marlene was a wonderful person and we will all miss her.
