Mark’s Story

Site created on December 21, 2019

On October 29, 2019 Mark suffered from a massive ischemic brain stem stroke. He spent two weeks in ICU at Centennial Medical Center. His prognosis was grim and we were told to prepare to make a decision on life support.
On November 13, 2019 he was transferred to Southern Hills Medical Center for acute inpatient rehab. He is now walking, talking, eating and had his trach removed. We are told on a daily basis that he is a miracle.
In Mark’s words “never say can’t”.
