Katie, I was just now informed of your dad's passing by my good friend, Melanie Wissel. She and I were in the Aggies for Christ with your dad back in the 70's. I am devastated to hear this news, but I rejoice to know that your dad is no longer struggling to breath. I have just lost a good friend whose wife and children just had to go through the very same experience and it is just something that defies explanation. You have my deepest sympathy and my fervent prayers for healing. Your dad was one of my favorite people in the AFC group. Both he and your mom were the sweetest people. He was always so positive, so fun to be around and his leadership in that group molded me as a young Christian at that time. You'll be in my daily prayers.

Praying for you every day as you begin this slow journey that is never over. May each of you rest in God's love and experience his grace and peace. Be gentle with yourselves.
The department was blessed deeply by Mark professionally, spiritually, and personally. There will be daily reminders of his influence and presence. May each reminder cause us to stop and lift everyone of you up to the Father.
Praying over you Psalm 121.
Sending hugs❤️
We have put your family Christmas card on our refrigerator, and every time we see it, we think of you and of Mark. Great idea to try to make positive Christmas experiences during such a dark time, experiences that your children will remember forever. Mark would have loved to know you did this, I'm sure. Hugs and Prayers from Gary and Patty
