Dr Getz and Ruth knowing both of you I am not surprised to see how you are both navigating this with grace and humility. Know that my family and I are keeping you and yours close in our hearts and prayers.
It is so difficult to find words that can possibly provide comfort in your time of extreme difficulty. Only the Lord & His words are capable of that. Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” Thank goodness that the Lord’s faithfulness to us is not based on our faithfulness to Him. God remains faithful to us because of who He is. He does promise to never leave us or forsake us & He has NEVER broken a promise. God be with you, my friend, & may you always know & feel that! Oh, one more thing…our daughter taught me that every single doctor visit, every scan or test is cause for a reward…whether it is a smoothie, a candy bar or a pair of silky socks. Looks like you need to catch up on a whole week of rewards!
