Journal entry by Margaret Sauer —
Hello friends and family,
We wanted to give you an update on Marjo.
Marjo “graduated” from hospice care a couple of months ago because she has been stable for over a year. Hospice was incredible, but we were grateful for the positive news… only Marjo could graduate from this end of life care! Incredible! 🙏🏻
Over the past few months mom and dad have been talking about being together again. They both want to spend this time in their lives together; what a beautiful example for us all. That being said, at the end of September we plan to move both mom and dad to Brazos Tower at Bayou Manor on S. Brasewood Blvd.. They will both be in assisted living with their own apartments next door to one another. The campus is incredible and has independent, assisted, and skilled nursing. Right now Brazos is completely open to visitors because the residence is 100% vaccinated. Please feel free to stop by for a visit, and we will continue to get them out for outings.
We appreciate all your thoughts and prayers during this time. We all feel very blessed to be able to call these two incredible people our parents.
Sending you all lots of love,
The Sauer Family❤️
