Thank you, Melissa, for your excellent communication skills with the public. You have been gracious, thorough, touching and kind. Carrie is so fortunate to have you as her sister. Sending prayers for continued strength, courage and peace as you all face the future in a different lifestyle. Your faith will continue to get your through everything with grace and humility. You have done so much already with wisdom and love. The Herrera family is an amazing family who has taught us all how to accept pain and sorrow with dignity and humbleness. Peace.

We watched the funeral mass here from our home in SC. What a moving and well done tribute to a wonderful man. Melissa, I echo the comments on the the wonderful job you have done with your posts over these last few weeks. You allowed us to be a little part of the journey your family had to undertake. May God Bless your entire family.
