Marie’s Story

Site created on April 20, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Marie is out of ICU and was put in a regular room last week. Now they brought her to Transitional Care to try to get stronger so she can come back to the house and maybe if she is stronger could make it home to Pennsylvania. But that's a long journey to get to. Right now we are taking it day by day. Thank you all for your love, support and all your prayers. Faith and prayers are wonderful and spiritual which are helping out a lot. It is lifting her spirit to fight. Update to add to this Marie is now in TCU, she was in the hospital for Mothers day but returned to TCU. She is now doing better and may come back to the house if she is strong enough to do so according to the Doctors and Physical Therapy. Its the 16th of june 2018. Marie is doing better so far at home, she has nurses and Physical Therapy coming twice a week. She is a fighter and trying to get better. She has a large regiment of pills three times a day.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Robert Weiss

Marie has been taking off of oxygen because she is somewhat stable. She is fighting to get stronger so she can go home with hospice so she can pass at home. Her body is really tired of fighting the cancer and the many health issues that are going on because of the cancer. She has fought this illness for years and now she wants to go see her mom and family in the afterlife. We are abiding by her wishes. All help physically, spiritually, and/or if you want (donations) not asking for any donations, we are not that kind of people to ask for donations. She has also said which is planned for her to be flown back to Pennsylvania to be buried next to her husband. If you want to donate contact myself Bob or Dawn Weiss for info. Thank you all for your prayers. ALSO PLEASE SHARE THE TIMES YOU HAD WITH MARIE.
