I too was so pleased to hear that Nellie is so well loved and cared for. Marie must be so happy and relieved that all is well. as she was concerned about her furry friend when she had to leave this world. As you all know Marie loved all living things and had such compassion for all....I often go to her bench and sit awhile and remember our conversations and experiences.. Still miss her and she is in my mind often....❣️
I have being feeling Marie in so many ways over this year and especially in the last few weeks. I am lucky to continue to be touched by Marie’s love and wisdom. ♥️

Charlene, you are an amazing Cat Whisperer. Thanks for all your smart and caring attention towards Nellie. I feel Marie's presence shining down upon you and me and all her beloveds in this earthly world. I am deeply missing her physical presence in my life - her phenomenal hugs, her contagious laugh, her mischievous teasing, and really everything about Marie on this first anniversary of her death. Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Marie cared deeply for all oppressed people and had a special place in her heart for many Jews in her life - both friends and colleagues. On this magnificent, sunny winter day in Maine, I am deeply feeling Marie's ongoing love and desire for a better world for all people and all living things .
