Journal entry by Marcy Smucker

Yesterday mom was discharged! She’s home and doing well. The incision still gives her some pain  but meds make that kind of thing manageable. Mom and I are went to Costco this morning which is a good indicator of how she’s doing. She’s still not quite back to “normal” but is recovering well. She’s scheduled for weekly appointments for a couple weeks yet, and has a procedure scheduled to remove the stents placed in her bile duct. I can say for all of us- it is SO GOOD to have this gallbladder schmatz (only word that properly describes it, sorry if you don’t get it) behind us. Thanks to Jesus for His crazy goodness and to you guys for praying. Keep praying for a quick recovery.
