Journal entry by Amy Cornell

Margie is completely with no doubt cancer free!! 🙌🏽🎉She had her lumpectomy on Feb 11th, was delayed bc she spiked a fever and cold. Her sweet friends Cindy and Christine came in to support her. They became her nurses bc of her brief sickness so they helped her around the house and moral support for her upcoming surgery. Lymph nodes showed no sign of cancer during her surgery and pathology report showed all clean margins!! Best news!!  Jeremy came in town to help her and Mike celebrate with a bottle of champagne 🥂!! They had  awesome time! Her body needs to heal for her radiation treatments. It will be 4 weeks for 5 days a week. The start date will be determined with her doctors on an upcoming appointment.  Port removal will be in a few weeks. She is more than ready to get this all moving so it can be put behind her.

She is truely blessed with all her family and friend support. She will celebrating with her girlfriends in Chicago soon and then with family in FLORIDA 🌴! Woo hoo!!  Margie kicked cancers butt!💗💪🏽
