Spent the afternoon/evening with mom yesterday.  A/C Skylines put mom on oxygen the past Friday as she is having shortness of breath and difficulty sleeping.  Her appetite has definitely decreased and she seems a lot weaker.  The nurse ordered a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia, which we hope to get done today or tomorrow.  Mom, however, did walk with her walker to and from the dining room last night, taking a break or two along the way, but could tell she was struggling.  She kept saying, I have to walk, and I said yes mom that is good and you are doing a great job.  Mom was too tired and weak yesterday to do any of her strength training exercise and I didn't want to push her.
