Welcome to my Cervical Cancer Journey. Please bear with me as I find my words to begin journaling ✌️💕🙏

Newest Update

Journal entry by Margaret Carney

I just realized I haven’t updated. I do apologize.
Surgery was a success, however I will be starting methotrexate on Monday. Very low dose ( orally) just to make sure all CA cells and pre- cells are gone. I’m feeling pretty good. Still healing. Popped a couple stitches from vomiting so much ( ended up testing positive for COVID the week before Christmas). Fun times Lol. I have to say, was bound to get it sooner or later. I’m about done with 2021. Going into 2022 with faith, hope, humbleness and grace.
I THANK each and everyone who has reached out. Sent cards, love, flowers etc. nothing has gone unoticed in my eyes and my heart.
To my family and friends who have been here since day one. I Thank you for listening and being the best support system I need. For the late night and early phone calls ( I would just cry in your ears and you would just sit there in silence till I was done, even tho you were sad inside for me, you were always there). To Doug, for loving me unconditionally even when I’m not the prettiest or the most stubborn and hard headed. You have shown me what REAL love truly is. To my mom and my sister there are just no words for how Thankful I am for you both.
Happy New Year! Cheers to a healthy and humble 2022 ❤️
