Mard - I started reading this (as I mentioned to you), finally finished reading it and just read it again. I feel my comments are relatively the same each time I comment... You are a very strong person and dealing with a lot. You do this with a calm dignity. None of us can truly understand or imagine the emotional roller coaster - we can possibly empathize with the happiness/relief when receiving good news. Your descriptive language provides insight to a world most of us don’t know well. It’s emotional to read and uplifting to know you push forward and do all you can to stay as healthy as possible. Brave strong girl. Along with many others - friends, relatives, medical staff - I’m here for you always and love you with all my heart. Mom

I know this must be so hard. You faced one of the biggest obstacles of your life and now you just want to be done. I'm so sorry you still have to make more decisions about this stupid cancer. I do know that you are smart and so strong. You'll do what is right for you. Sending you love and a big ol' virtual hug!

Love you Mardi! Never ceases to amaze me how strong and positive you are. Oh, and your favorite LA dermatologist (and mine!) taught me about silicone scar sheets to reduce scars. Has anyone told you about those? I’ll text you a pic. Game changers! Sending love and positive energy your way.

Oh Mardi. I have heard from so many friends going through this that you do have a new-normal. In following you on this journey, I understand so much better what an emotional roller coaster you continue to ride. I can only imagine how panic-stricken to lose your sleeve. I am so grateful it turned out well. I have been to Greece twice and loved both times. There just continue to be so many decisions for you have to make. My desire for you is that in the midst of chaos and anxiety, that you will find peace and that every decision you are forced to make will 100% turn out in your favor. As a mom, I walk with you as I read each entry.
So much love,
Pam
