A great day! Marcy opened her eyes! Not yet 100% responsive, but I’d say 30% PT and OT came to visit and sat her up on the side of the bed to stimulate more awareness and to see what she’s capable of doing. She did respond to 2 requests by shaking her head NO. She moved her left hand on command and wiggled her toes.  She’s moving in the recovery direction. 
When she is more clear headed, they’ll attempt to take her off of the ventilator. Could be a few more days. At this point, their not thinking a trachea is needed. I haven’t had a confirmation but I’m willing to say, she’s done with dialysis. I’ll get confirmation later today. All her numbers are coming down to a more normal state. Liver numbers are still high but coming down. Hopefully sooner rather than later, you’ll be calling her and sending her your inspirational encouragement.
