Marciano’s Story

Site created on December 20, 2020

Welcome to our CaringBridge website for our father. We are glad you are here!

On Sunday December 13th our father went to the emergency room as he we having trouble breathing, eating and his stomach was abnormally bloated. It’s been quite the medical journey since then and we believe this site is how we can keep family and friends updated on his health. There are too many individuals to call at this time and so we hope you find this helpful. We may update several times a a day as we hear more from the doctors.

We appreciate you and thank you for your patience as we navigate this season! We love you... and so do our parents!

Journal entry by Madelynn Reyes

Hola familia and friends!
On behalf of the family we want to thank you for joining us last night for our fathers virtual memorial. We wish we could have been together but are grateful for technology and we were happy to see your faces on Zoom. If you were unable to view it live we will have the link to the recording within the week.

Thank you also for all the text messages, phone calls, flowers, prayers, Facebook messages and overwhelming love!

We want to share a little of what’s next for our family… Our mother will be moving out of the apartment she and Papi lived in. She will move in with Tite, Jasmin and the kids (thank you Ethen for giving her your room). She will be there for about a month and will make her way to Chicago with Candie around June where she will stay with Donny and I for a couple of months. Moms needs to have knee surgery so we will take care of her with Candie and cousins. After Chicago we will see how she feels and plan her next steps.

Thank you all for your care and understanding during this time. We are grateful for one another and you all.

We love you!!!
