Journal entry by Marcia Bowering —
It’s been awhile...Sorry.
Braeden has been going to physio at the Lacombe Hospital for 3 weeks now, and is doing well. The biggest challenge is learning his balance again. His left leg is still non-weight baring, until we see the surgeon in Edmonton on Dec.23. His right leg has nerve damage that has affected his foot. He has difficulty wiggling his toes and his foot is not at a 90 degree angle. We had to get an orthotic made for it, to help strengthen the nerve and to keep his foot straight. Braeden is 16, young and strong minded. He has broken some rules and has pushed himself. He’s supposed to be practicing on crutches, with myself and Tom as guides but he has figured ways to get around that.😊..I cannot blame him for trying...just to be careful. I will continue to keep you informed.
I would also like to say a HUGE thank you to my family, friends and church community for their support and prayers. It is amazing!
I ask that you continue to pray for Paul, Melonie and their family, especially during this time of year.
