Dear Freisens
We were so sorry to hear Marcella has left you, but so grateful her struggles are over.
You are an amazing, strong family. We wish we could be there for the Visitation and funeral but won’t be returning from Florida until the end of April.
Our families shared so many memories in Westfield, from Girl Scouting with Ellen and Betsy, Cub Scours with Greg and Peter, and playgroup with Chris and Duffy. So many Washington School events that brought us together.... and those Washington School Plays!
Marcella had a wonderful sense of humor and was the best friend and companion to share time with!
I am reminded of her daily when I look at all the wonderful curtains she made for our Florida house !
I am especially reminded of Girl Scout camping trips with the girls at Camp Hoover and a very hot Halloween when Chris and Duffy begged for rubber masks that were quite expensive and only wore them for 5 minutes!
I will never forget wallpapering your hall on Lenox! This was in exchange for curtains in our Westfield house.
We were all better people for knowing and loving her.
God bless you all
I feel blessed and grateful to share 27 years of Cornerstone with Marcella ,who was always positive
She was our example of a courageous warrior
Her perseverance was such an example to us, as she faced the challenges God set before her
Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time
Rest In Peace our Dear Marcella
We love you. Marilyn ❤️💚
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time....we loved Marcella dearly and greatly appreciated how kind and loving she was to our entire family. With love and prayers, Katie Grayson (granddaughter of Grandpa Buddy Phelan) ❤️🙏
