Journal entry by Marc Cronier

After having a seizure in Nov 2018 diagnosis led to Glioblastoma stage 4 otherwise known as GBM4. This cancer has no known cure and any treatment is an opportunity to prolong life. Marc had brain surgery  (awake craniotomy) Mar 9th 2019 where100% of  2 tumors were removed . This was followed by 6 weeks of radiation in conjunction with 6 weeks of oral chemotherapy.  Marc also started a trial drug given by infusion a total of 6 times during this period. His first post treatment MRI was pretty good with an area they will continue to monitor for re growth. He now continues to have oral chemotherapy for 6 months with high dose for 5 days and the  a 23 day break. He had his 2nd MRI last week and we will be meeting the Neurosurgeon Sept 10th for these latest results. We will continue to map his journey so lives ones can follow .
He remains in good spirits as we live one day at a time.
