Journal entry by Pamela Swenson

We've had another great week! They did start Makenna only having to go in to Mayo twice weekly. Her NP said her numbers were 'boring! BORING IS GOOD!!

We also got some great news! They checked Makenna's blood to see how much Shaynee's donor cells are present  compared to Makenna's cells. The goal after transplant is to eventually have Shaynee's donor cells at 100% and Makenna's at zero with minimal resistance (graft vs host/rejection).

SHE'S AT 100% ALREADY WITH NO SYMPTOMS!!  THANKS TO GOD FOR SURE!!!! We are not completely out of the woods with these concerns of Graft vs Host,  but this is a fantastic start!!!!

Makenna is feeling very well and is even looking into signing up for classes she can take online at Mankato. This will be so good for her to get back to school. She's very excited about this!

Our prayers are being heard and answered in big ways! We're so grateful for all of you prayer warriors! You've help save our girls life!!! 🙏😇
