Hi Maggi,
Just want to say Hi. Have not been down to see you for a few days. I heard from Julie that you had a good time at Jacobs grad. Party. I will see you soon!
So happy she can get out of the hospital environment. Your advice is so thoughtful. It is most important she receives all the love heading her way. Enjoy the weekend, and the memories.
I'm so happy for you all that your Mom can be home and attend this important milestone for Jacob! It'll be a great weekend and another giant step for Maggi. <3
Thank you again for these posts. You are all so amazing in this rehab journey. Many prayers and well wishes still coming your way. Love you all so much!!
So happy to hear things are going well for your mom and that she will get to attend the graduation party. I'm sure this means so much to her and the graduate too! Jacki, you're so good at explaining what your mom is going through. The way you explained how the brain is working at this moment is such a great way to explain it to others. Hugs to all and I hope your mom's outing goes well.
Great coaching Jacki, thanks! Maggi is so smart and social it’s easy for her to appear like her ‘Normal self”. Appreciate the word to the wise. :-) Maggi’s progress is phenomenal. I know she’s got great caregivers and she is amazingly string and smart. Not enough can ever be said about you and Cheri, your love for Maggi, your presence, your commitment to her. Lovely to see, lovely to be a part of. Big Kudos to Dereck and all those who love her and hold her in your hearts.
Blessings on you and all your family.
She is so fortunate to have you all. As someone who has been in your shoes, make sure you rest and remember to take care of yourselves too. As a long time friend of your moms, I am so happy to hear of her accomplishments. In an average persons eyes, these are so small. But, to those that are the caregivers, the smallest things are the great accomplishments! Take care of yourselves too ladies!
