Lou’s Story

Site created on October 14, 2019

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Please ignore all requests for donations. It's part of the website we can't control. Mom had appeared to have a stroke on Saturday morning. Her church family cared for her and sent her by ambulance to the hospital. The decision was made to give her an anti-clotting medication but in a small percentage of patients this can have an adverse effect. That's what happened and this caused hemorrhaging in the brain. This is the biggest concern at this point. CT scans have been done each day and we're waiting for the latest result. They just told us the results for the latest scan will be tomorrow (Tuesday)so we'll update you then. She is stable for now.
