I'm so happy that recovery is going well - I continue to send prayers your way. I have shared Madeline's story with a co-worker whose daughter has CF. It has given her so much hope. I continue to share your story with her and I'm thrilled that Madeline is able to talk, laugh, walk, enjoy and live. You are both so inspiring! So happy Madeline is doing so well. I've seen out the past two weeks and she looks & sounds great. I continue to look forward to seeing Madeline each month at the TLC lunches as well as at book club. Thank you Dave for keeping us updated on what has been happening as you & Madeline travel on this very challenging journey. The strength and courage you both have showed all of us how to face adversity with grace. Continued prayers to both of you in your life ahead.

How wonderful to read that Madeline has continued to recover and to grow strong enough to drive again and to spend time by herself. I have truly appreciated hearing about Madeline's journey through this Caring Bridge blog, and I want to thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Between my choir and theater programs this spring, trip to the United Kingdom and now preparing quickly for Jackie's wedding, I feel sorry that I have not been there to be a companion during Madeline's recovery from surgery. But Madeline has always been in my thoughts. How wonderful that you have been surrounded by many friends. Stay strong as you continue to make progress toward a more normal life. As Erin posted, "Madeline is stronger than anyone I know."

I am overjoyed to hear Madeline doing so well. She is stronger than anyone I know. You both have been in my thoughts over these months. I hope things continue to get even better as time goes on.
