My Whipple surgery is scheduled for tomorrow which is the last leg of the treatment. I feel good and am confident in the surgical team and the hospital and in my ability to come out of this strong and cancer free.  Tom and the kids are here with me and I have a tremendous group of people in my corner all of whom are volunteering to help in any way they can.  I am extremely touched and thankful for all the prayers, well-wishes and assistance I have received so far and will receive going forward.  All of you hold a special place in my heart.
