I am writing from Immanuel UMC in Kenosha. The Rutter family served here is the 1970s. I met Thad when he was my patient in the hospital. He invited me to Immanuel and I have been active there ever since. Lynn was always so friendly and gracious, even though she was commuting to Milwaukee for her teaching job. I see in the picture of her on this site that her smile never changed.
Sean, when your folks were moved away from Immanuel in about 1980, one of the gifts we gave them was a microwave oven. Microwaves were a new thing then and this one was all shiny stainless steel. We thought that you boys would like warming up snacks in it. Do you remember it?
