Your wording makes it "real", you're so articulate. Sometimes you may feel sharp as a marble, but you are so right to call this phase "Survivorship". That you are aware that improvements are coming, but you don't know when. Getting to that 5 Year Milestone is a slow boat right now. Certainly don't need you to answer here, but just wanna ask if you can have PCA (Personal Care Assistance) provided by insurance(s) right now? It was the hardest concession of my life to "give in" and let someone else help me with chores et al around my house. I found a good agency, and was matched with a great PCA. Doing diligence is a big deal, but you're you, so - thought I would mention the PCA so you can maximize your recovery phases and as each thing can return with your strength, maybe having a bit of help will take mind and body stress down a couple notches. And, um - yeah, I got told off for cleaning before she got there in the beginning. PCA doesn't do "heavy housework", but the floors, vacuuming and what you mentioned, even laundry help, cooking with you or shopping with you - it makes a difference. 🐾🦋💞
