Well, CA is being uncharacteristically kind about things like registration and driver's licenses and if going to the DMV does not appear to be safe, believe me, I'll drive on an expired license, no problem. My understanding is that in those cases there are no fines or delinquent fees... But with the DMV, I'll believe it when I see it. I'm sorry we didn't get a visit in...
