I haven't updated this site for over a year, but tonight I'm inspired to tell  you all that i have, as of today, finished treatment for my bladder cancer.  As you know, after the first six infusions of BCG, I showed no sign of cancer.  However, the protocol is for three full years of BCG every three months and then eventually every six month.  I will continue to have checks every six months, and then every year for 7 more years (I think the ten years started at the beginning and not now).  I'm happy to be reassured over and over that the cancer is gone.  And I am extremely happy to think of never having treatment again.  

My nurse practitioner today told me I'm the poster child for how this protocol is supposed to work.  It doesn't always -- I've been more than lucky!

Thank you for your support over these years.  I can't believe anyone is still reading this, but if you are, I do appreciate it.
