Journal entry by Lynda Cox

Hi everyone, Carl here.

Lynda completed her journey this morning, around 10:15 am.

Lara and I were both at her side and she went, and she did not experience any pain.

As sad as this is, there is much to be thankful for and find peace in.  In one of our last conversations, she told me that she had found peace and was not afraid.

Having Lynda as a mother has taught me many virtues; patience, understanding, forgiveness, graciousness, kindness, thoughtfulness, generosity, curiosity, dependability and much more.

She has touched countless lives in so many ways, I’m always blown away by how many people come up to her in public to excitedly give her a hug, and she remembers every name of every kid that has gone thru Marshdale, it’s incredible.

As a final act of kindness to the world, Lynda will be donating her organs to people that need them, so that they might have a better chance at a good life.

Lara and I will be posting about any upcoming info on a ceremony to celebrate her life.

A $25 donation powers a page like Lynda's for two weeks.

If you donate by April 17, your gift will doubled, thanks to a matching gift by former CaringBridge board members.
