Lura’s Story

Site created on October 21, 2018

At the beginning of 2018 Lura was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer. It has spread to her brain and spinal fluid causing major complications. She has been doing chemo and radiation. Here is the last few weeks she has been admitted into the hospital for the tumor on her brain, pain management, and now pneumonia.  She is in very critical Condition as of today. She is on a vent and is struggling with heart rate. Doctors are not giving us much hope. Please pray for her to be pain free and for Gods will. And if you feel led to donate thank you very much.

An addition to this our son, Derek Goodall, is in St Luke’s hospital. He has to have emergency surgery on a hole in his stomach. He cane through surgery and was recovering but had a set back when he started spitting up blood. He was sent back to icu until the bleeding stopped. He is back to a regular room but cannot eat or drink fornat least 30-60 days while they try to let the stomach heal. Derek has been battling complications from severe and chronic pancreatitis from 2012.

We want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and if anyone would feel led to make a donation it is greatly appreciated. Thank you all and God Bless.

Update
Lura Goodall - tube is out. She is breathing on her own and her Numbers are all staying stable. God has worked yet another miracle for my family. Still a lot to get through but this in itself is miraculous. Docs gave her little to no hope to get back off the vent when they had to put it in. Thank you so much for the prayers. Please continue. God bless.
