Luke’s Story

Site created on March 27, 2021

Luke Wolff is a proud dad, loving husband, a father that provides and friend that gives to those in need.

Luke was in a serious ATV accident breaking his pelvis in multiple places. Luke had several other injuries but the severity of the injury to his pelvis required extensive surgery.

Luke will not be able to bear weight on his legs for 8+ weeks. He will go through extensive PT to gain strength and stability for when the time comes for Luke to get "back on his feet"

This trauma will take a toll on the family and they will need all the prayers, love and support that our community can muster. They have a close loving family that have already sprung into action doing all they can to make Luke's transition to home as seamless as possible.

The current high priority need is a handicap accessible vehicle. Like most young families the Wolff's are active and Luke doesn't want to miss out on a thing.

In addition, Luke is in sales. Selling mowers and other lawn equipment, the upcoming season is his busiest. This vehicle may also allow him to hit the road to continue his sales and ease the financial hardship that this accident will have on his family.

The Wolff & Fields family thank you with all of their hearts for your generosity and support of this special family.

Journal entry by Keith Nance

There is a long road ahead, but today was the first step to healing.

The body heals slow, but the heart heals fast when surrounded by those you love most.

Luke came home today. He is strong and his family makes him stronger.

Sitting up in his wheelchair is a success. Transferring from bed to chair is a challenge, but with support, love and prayer every day will bring more successes.

We are grateful to God for the blessing of life and the blessing of family and friends.
