Thank you for keeping us updated. Your comments are so right on and honest. We've had our own struggles with mental illness and I really appreciate your candor and I know how difficult is to write. As always, my prayers are with all of you, especially praying for Luke's current medications to have some positive results. Remember to take care of yourselves!

oops...my bad, sorry about the typos, see even good intentions can get goofed up!
Talk to your parents and siblilngs - don't be afraid to reach out, to family, friends and teachers - they want to help, but you have to make the first move by asking...
Best of luck this year in school. We are rooting for you all the way!

Dear Luke,
The DuBord family understands what you have been going through, as we have faced similar challenges in our family too!
I am sure that you have heard this, but "life is a journey, not a destination". What this means is take each day as it comes. Some days will be gloriously successful, other days - not so much, but in the long run there will be more glorious days. Also realize that are up grow up, your body will settle down, your growing hormores will ease up and life will be easier. Being a teenager is hard enough, but when you compound it with your challenges, it is sometimes a struggle.

Heres is what I hope you will do as you restart your life's journey: 1.Don't be so hard on yourself!, get enough sleep and food in your belly to help your body stabilize
