Journal entry by Kevin Bork

The last 7 days have been busy for LuAnne, The weather and good health finally came together and Lynn was able to bring Ken & Donna to the cities to see LuAnne, thank you Lynn. We met for a quick lunch in Bloomington at Poor Richards. Thank You to Poor Richards, they allowed us to go into one of there separate rooms for a more private time. Ken & Donna were very happy to see Lu, and Lu them. The waiter whom I missed his name was also fantastic realizing what was going on, Thank You sir. LuAnne only lasted an hour and wanted to go back. When we got back to the care center she was sleeping in 10 minutes. Then Tuesday we had doctor appointments all day. We met the plastic surgeon that will replace the bone flap when Lu is ready. Then went for MRI tests and follow up with Neurosurgeons. We have to wait a little more for the replacement surgery. Best part of this day was rolling through the ICU. Several Doctors, RN, RA, Respiratory, Therapists  and Neurosurgery staff saw her and stopped to talk to LuAnne.  They were happy to see her and her progress. This little 15 minute stop made Lu's day she didn't want to leave. We took this Sunday off as Lu was very tired and wanted lunch and dinner in her room today. I was happy to do that for her, she slept for all but the lunch and dinner time today.

Thank You to everyone for all of the comments and prayers we love to read them and LuAnne will enjoy reviewing these when she is able.
