Lexie,
I am an old friend of your mom and dad and your grandpa and grandma. I'm so sorry you are having to go through this difficult "dynamic" time. I must say your caring and uplifting words are an inspiration for anyone . . .young or old. I hope your wait is a short one, although it is truly a sad thought for the other family. You are strong and get your strength from your amazing family. Prayers for you, for your entire family, and for the "other" family.
Dynamic, Stellar, Compassionate, Courageous are all words that describe you Lexie and so many more. Most of all your faith, which is what truly keeps us going. My own heart aches for you and your family but I pray daily for your strength during this time , especially with your mom's birthday coming. I love you and your family and hope my faith is strong for you. God will Bless, I'm sure.
Thank you for sharing your journey...your spirit and love shine thru every word...we love your mom at gsbc and are praying for you and your family....bless you sweet girl
Hello Lexie...I too, read your journal through and thank you for taking the time to let us know how you're doing. Like so many others have mentioned, your positive personality shines through with your words! Here's to hoping and praying this journey of yours and your family's is shortened with of course, sweet success! I also pray for peace for the donor family...what a joy for them to know how thankful you and your family, and all of us will be for you to receive and carry your beautiful spirit through their loved one's heart. Hugs to you and your beautiful family.
Lexie you are a true inspiration and I love your spirit! A sense of humor is the best way to get thru all the rough times and I can relate to the "warped" way of dealing with things. I know you have a huge support system and I just want you to know I am praying for you and know you will live with your new heart in the best way possible. Keep laughing and thank you for keeping all of us posted on the progress. Hugs to you!!
I admire the strength you have during this very long an painful process!! May God bless you with a new heart and give peace to the donor family. I’ve never been blessed to meet you but if your anything like your mother your a beautiful person inside and out!
Lexie, While you don’t know me I have known your mom since our ice show days. I am married to a medical “ miracle” so I know they are very possible! Your fighting attitude is so important and your sense of humor is wonderful. Your faith is unwavering. This all works so much in your favor! You have strong family support and such a positive attitude! I read every line of your “novel” and was amazed at the charming, sweet personality that showed through. You are in our prayers and we send you good wishes and thoughts . (mike and Mary Jo )
