Nat, I was so terribly sad to hear of Michael's passing. I was his first Ph.D. graduate at Alliant, and I can honestly say I would not be a doctor, nor who I am in my life and career without him. I will always remember his tremendous kindness, generosity, support, and friendship. He is and will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are to Dr. Loewy's loved ones. I'm glad he had you all by his side during his transition and that he knew he was loved. I am thankful for his calming nature and support. We honor the man he was and the mark he left on us all.
