From Cat...

To my family, friends and loved ones:  I have made a decision to move into hospice care.  I could be in hospice care a short time or a long time.  This decision is because there are no more options for treatment.  

My dear friend Abbi has set up a Care Bridge for me and I will invite you to sign up to keep in touch with me.  We will add current and ancient photos, stories you want to share, memories you  may have of me.       

We will include a list of my needs as these arise.  Most immediately, twelve volunteers from my canoe club Outrigger Santa Cruz helped move a heavy bed to another room to make space for a hospital bed from hospice.  Some friends moved bicycles to my garage to make a passage way for a dear friend's wheelchair to enter my house.

I welcome visits but please text to make sure I am not already engaged.
