Mya’s Story

Site created on April 17, 2020

Welcome to Mya Moran's update page! Mya is in 5th grade and loves all things gymnastics. She is free spirited and imaginative with the biggest heart for others. If you know her personally, you know how sweet and positive she is.

Mya has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer).  This is going to be a difficult journey for the Moran family so we appreciate all of your kindness, support, and most importantly, your prayers during this time. We will update this page as often as we can so family and friends can know how to pray specifically or show support as different needs arise.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand...For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." Isaiah 41:10;13.

Journal entry by Amanda Moran

Hello. It has been a while. We have been busy with school and living life. Mya took her Make-A-Wish trip over spring break. We all went to San Diego, CA! She also turned 13!! She is officially a teenager. School is almost done and we are looking forward to summer!!
Mya is getting her port out on May 11! It is an outpatient procedure so we should get to come home that evening. Prayers would be appreciated as she is nervous every time she goes under Anesthesia.
Hope you all are doing well. We are so thankful for the unwavering support during the last two years. Thank you!
