Lynn’s Story

Site created on October 17, 2018

Hi everyone, I'm so appreciative of the love and support by my family and friends.  Surgery is never a pleasant experience and needing help is humbling.   Thank you so much for being there for me and  our family for next several weeks until the doctor gives me the big OK to be a full time mom again.   Each of you are forever in my heart and prayers of Thanks Giving!

Journal entry by Cathy Hayden

Hi all,
Surgery was 2 1/2 weeks go and Lynn is doing great!   She is progressing as expected.  However, it's hard to keep a good woman down.  She's been taking short walks outside and puttering around the house.    Today she was very uncomfortable with back pain and general discomfort from the surgery.  The doctor is limiting her activities and she is still not released to drive.  She's back to her bedroom for rest.

So we've added an extra week of love and support for  Lynn - from Nov 13 -21.  Just a few meals and some light cleaning.  No driving help - grandparents have been able to cover most of the driving.

Thank for the tremendous outpouring for her.  She feels so loved and appreciates everything people are doing.
