Journal entry by Elizabeth Hermanson —
Hello family & friends! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🌤❤
It has been a long journey these past several months! Your prayers and connections have meant the world to us.🙏🏼🙏🏼
Lou and I are grateful and blessed to have received really amazing news yesterday after getting his PET scan results! The cancer in his body is gone! The tumors are still there and shrinking, but the cancer cells are gone! The tumors will hopefully dissolve over time.
Our faith and all the prayers we have received play a significant role, thank you.🙏🏼
He has been feeling under the weather for a bit, and laying low. We have been concerned because his symptoms are lingering. This news that the cancer is gone gives us so much hope. It's possible the symptoms he's been having are side effects from his treatment.
He will continue immunotherapy treatment and will be monitored with scans every few months. There are a couple of spots on his heart that the doctor will keep an eye on but was not concerned with.
Happy New Year! We appreciate
everyone who takes the time to read our updates. We are grateful for your prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🌤👼
