As many of you have already heard, Louis passed away this weekend. He is no longer in pain! 

Louie and I were with him when he took his last breath about 10:40 Saturday night. We sat with him a while to be together as our family of three one last time. So it wasn’t until after midnight that the hospice nurse came to make the official pronouncement … and thus making it so he “officially” passed away on Sunday instead of Saturday.

Louis was a great husband, dad, coach, and friend. He was much loved and will be missed by many. His greatest joy was Louie. They had a special bond from day one. This new hole in Louie’s life is the most difficult and heartbreaking part for me. But I know God has a reason and a plan for everything. 

Thank you for all of your love, prayers, support, and encouragement throughout these horrible last 5 months. May you never have to experience anything like it.
